The Markdown Publisher is a lightweight tool that makes it easy to convert your Markdown documents into stand-alone HTML pages with no external dependencies. You can brainstorm and write in Markdown, and publish your document as HTML for distribution. The Publisher is a standalone HTML file, so you can use it online or download it to use any time.
The Markdown Publisher is designed to work with Firefox 3.0. The file select feature does not work in Opera 9.50, and the “save it to disk” feature does not work in Safari 3.1.1 (open the view link and use “Save As”), but otherwise these browsers function properly. Don’t even think about using IE.

The latest version is dated June 10, 2008. You can either use the Publisher online by clicking the link above, or you can save it to your disk, but note that the “file select” feature will most likely not work unless you save the file locally.
